Oaks Estate is a suburb of Canberra, Australian
Capital Territory and is about 11 kms southeast of
ACT's capital city of Canberra. In the 2011
Australian census the population of Oaks Estate
was 259 when there were 93 Females and 166
Males living there. The median age for people
living in Oaks Estate was 41.
Oaks Estate is an urban village situated
immediately on the northern side of the NSW-ACT
border abutting the township of Queanbeyan in
south-eastern New South Wales, Australia. The
estate covers an area of approximately 40
hectares and is bound by the Molonglo River to
the north, the Queanbeyan River to the east, 'The
Oaks' to the west, and the Queanbeyan-Cooma
railway to the south.
